The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV represents the future of driving, with its electric performance and high-tech functions. We’re sharing some of the most interesting elements of the new Chevrolet Equinox EV available at our dealer.
Performance
The Chevrolet Equinox EV runs on an electric propulsion system with an electronic precision shift, a propulsion battery, and an onboard charging module. This system has an EPA-estimated 319 miles of range when fully charged, and the onboard charging module reaches Level 2 charge rates of 11.5 kW.
Exterior
The Chevy Equinox EV LT 1 base trim comes with 19-inch aluminum wheels that are paired with all-season blackwall tires. There are deep-tinted rear windows and solar-glazing front windows, giving you a more private cabin with reduced glare from the sun.
Lighting on the Equinox EV includes LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. The outside mirrors are power-adjustable, moving with the touch of a button.
Interior
The Equinox EV has a 5-passenger seating capacity across two front bucket seats and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat. The driver’s seat has 6-way manual adjustments, while the front passenger seat has 4-way manual adjustments. Standard cabin features in the 2025 Equinox EV include a 6-speaker audio system, an 11-inch driver information center, USB charging ports, Remote Start, and adaptive cruise control.
Technology
There’s no shortage of entertainment options in the 2025 Equinox EV, which comes with a 17.7-inch LCD infotainment system. This system includes smartphone integration with natural voice recognition, allowing you to make hands-free phone calls to friends and family while you’re driving. The Equinox EV also comes with three free months of SiriusXM satellite radio for unlimited access to exclusive music, sports, and news stations.
The Equinox EV now has Google built-in compatibility. Google built-in is an exciting tech option that brings the convenience of Google Maps, Assistant, Play, and Gmail directly to your infotainment system.
Safety
Similar to the 2024 model, the new Equinox EV comes with Chevy Safety Assist to monitor your surroundings and warn you about upcoming hazards that could lead to an accident. The Chevy Safety Assist package contains Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, and more.
Additional safety features in the new Equinox EV include Safety Alert Seat and Blind Zone Steering Assist. Safety Alert Seat warns you about incoming collisions by using a gentle vibration in the driver’s seat to alert you to their direction. Blind Zone Steering Assist watches your blind spot and uses a firm turn of the steering wheel to let you know there’s a vehicle in the lane you’re entering.
