the entire trip went well , from Vincent reaching back out to me , to giving me a price over email that was actually the price when i came in none of that give me a price then add all the other charges his price was the price out the door. from test drive to buying the truck, i was in and out in no more then an hour . Eric the fiance portion of the deal aka the money guy as i call em. was awsome as well. none of that pushy sales add on stuff were all use to . shared options with me if i said no there wasnt a long drawn out push tactic to get me to change that to a yes. Even the manager there came out to thank me for my purchase everyone was down to earth just real people answered any and all questions "even from my 8 year old daughter* was quick got everything i wanted for a fair price first time in many vehicle purchases where i litterly had zero comprimise as to what i wanted or did not want. short simple quick. alredy plan to return with family to purchase more from them.

Overall, I had a good experience compared to the recent dealership I tried to purchase from (Turner Chevrolet, PA). I felt I should have been given a better trade in value since the last dealership offered $33,000 for my vehicle and online sources listed the value between $31,000-35,000 for ‘average/good condition’. I was only offered $27,000 for the trade value and saw the truck being sold for $34,000. I did counter offer at least $30,000 but was denied; however, I’m still happy with my purchase but would be hesitant to trade a vehicle in again at your dealership since I had two other dealerships offer me a value between $31,000-35,000, which was fair and what online sources had it at.

I bought my car in 2018. Chriswell Thurmont has done my service since I bought it there. Always had good service . The guys was always friendly. Yesterday I took for a tuneup . It wasn’t organized at all . Communication came in about 2:30 am . Then tuneup. Dropped car off . 7:30 and wasn’t done til 4:30pm . I have another appt today to get a readjustment. Car is idling rough. Wasn’t before the appointment. Was getting tuneup because it is recommended.

Vehicle is at the dealership for 4 days. I was informed that a module was replaced for the convertible top. I did put the top down and back up with no issue one time. The next morning, on my way to a car show, the same issue with the same codes on my scan tool. I called Saturday morning informing the service department of the issue, and was told I would receive a call back today. No call as of 2:30 this afternoon.

I have mixed feelings since the issues I had when I purchased my vehicle. I was quoted a price, shook on it for the salesman to come back and say they made a mistake. I should’ve left right there but I went ahead with the purchase. Then I canceled my clear coat buffing and never got my refund of $1,000 bucks. It’s a shame cause my son just bought a Dodge Hornet. We looked at them at Criswell but I told him to purchase from Tate in Frederick cause I didn’t want him to go through what I did. I feel like I was wronged not once but twice at Criswell and will not do business with again once my maintenance deal is up on my truck. My wife is soon going to be purchasing a new vehicle but sadly not from Criswell for doing me wrong.

I was 10 minutes late to my appointment and it was no problem. I got right in and 40 minutes later I was leaving. The reason I did not give 5stars, I used my credit card and was charged an extra 3% fee. Unexceptionable. Either eat the 3% or charge more on the front end, but charging to use a payment method is bad business in my opinion.

A very tumultuous series of events. Living 500 miles away, I had attended a week-long class at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg the week before Labor Day weekend. My car, a 2020 Chevrolet Sonic, had developed a severe coolant leak. The crew at Criswell’s service center was extremely empathetic and showed great care and determination to fix my vehicle as quickly as possible. I had to leave my vehicle in the care of their team over Labor Day weekend and fly home. They called on Tuesday to inform me of the vehicle’s issue (a cracked water pump), and a new part had been ordered. The next day, Wednesday, the pump was replaced and the coolant system was flushed. They were able to keep my car safe and secure until I could fly back out and retrieve it the following Saturday. Once I picked the vehicle up, I can attest to the quality and diligence of the work as the vehicle performed and “felt” better than it had for several months. To Chevrolet as a manufacturer, I am a chevy man for life. I have owned my vehicle for 5 years. Purchased brand new, the vehicle had 118,600+ miles before it developed this (it’s first) big issue. Outstanding work by all! I will buy Chevy until I die, and I only wish my local dealership’s service center was as quick and concerned as Criswell.

My experience was sent to the dealership directly and is also being shared here, as requested. I should start by stating that part of the blame is mine, for not being more thorough in my research, but I went to the lot to “look” at trucks and ended up leaving with a new 2025 Silverado 2500 HD. My main request was for something with adaptive cruise control and had mentioned it many times throughout the process. I've had it on several vehicles before, loved it, and was reassured many times that my vehicle had it, which it did not. There are many gadgets and gizmos on the truck, and I did not have an opportunity to test everything before I left. I wasn’t too concerned though, as I was reassured the truck had it. I live out of the area and tried everything I could think of to get it to work, while on the way home--to no avail. It wasn’t until I contacted my sales representative and had several text and email exchanges before we collectively realize the truck didn’t have it. My experience to that point was great, but the whole situation left me very, very, disappointed--and more so to learn it can’t even be added or activated. I spent a great deal of money (well to me anyway) and still didn’t get what I wanted.

Our experience with Criswell was probably one of the best experiences when buying and selling a vehicle that we’ve had. The dealership had a good inventory to choose from as well as transparent pricing. Our salesperson Chad was great. He was very knowledgeable and not the least bit overbearing and pushy like some salespersons we’ve dealt with in the past. He allowed us to make the decision at our own speed and when we were ready he took the time to come in on his day off to make the sale happen. He was thorough explaining all the details of the sale and once complete he took the time to explain all the new options on the vehicle and help us set up the onstar system.
