2025 Chevy Suburban Trims and Features

Except for the Z71, all Suburban trims can be configured with a two-wheel or four-wheel driveline. The standard engine for this model is a 5.3-liter V8 gas motor with an output of 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy for this engine is 15 MPG on urban roads and 20 MPG on the freeway. 

Drivers can customize performance on some models by choosing more powerful engines. The 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine produces 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. The final engine option is a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission with tow and haul traction modes is standard for all engines. 

LS

The LS comes with black assist steps, which are texturized pads that help riders enter the vehicle without slipping. Roof-mounted side rails give the Suburban a sporty edge and make it easy to install roof-mounted accessories. This model has IntelliBeam as a standard feature, which improves road visibility and safety by automatically turning the high beams off when oncoming traffic is detected at speeds over 25 MPH. 

LT

The LT has high-end convenience features, such as a power liftgate with programmable height. The liftgate can be opened by pushing a button on the keyless entry fob, pressing a button on the overhead console, or pressing a button on the liftgate door. The programmable height function allows you to choose how much the cargo hatch opens to avoid damaging the door. 

RST

The RST features an auto-dimming rearview mirror that dims the reflective brightness of the interior mirror when bright headlights are detected behind the vehicle. Features like perforated leather upholstery, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and heated front seat cushions with three levels of warmth are standard. 

Z71

This performance-oriented model has a standard four-wheel drivetrain, making it the ideal option if you love outdoor adventures. The Z71 comes with standard performance features like recovery hooks, 20-inch aluminum wheels, and front and rear skid plates to protect the SUV’s underbelly from damage. 

Premier

The Premier model features a 10-speaker Bose CenterPoint audio system for a phenomenal surround sound listening experience. Entertainment options are situated on the 17.7-inch central color touchscreen, which is compatible with Google technology for navigation and voice commands. 

High Country

The High Country has a standard 6.2-liter V8 engine and high-performance features, such as magnetic ride control. Magnetic ride control monitors the performance of individual wheels for precise handling and reliable traction, as well as a smooth ride feel.
