Seating

The Traverse has a 2-2-3 seating configuration for optimal passenger capacity and increased comfort. The front seats include an 8-way power heated bucket seat and a 4-way manual heated bucket seat. Safety Alert Seat and Rear Seat Reminder are two innovative safety functions in the Traverse. Safety Alert Seat warns you about incoming collisions by vibrating the driver’s seat on the side where the collision is expected. Rear Seat Reminder prevents you from leaving passengers or pets behind in the vehicle by using an audio alert before you exit the Traverse.

Performance

The Traverse runs on a 2.5L turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This duo produces 328 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 326 lb.-ft. of torque at 3500 rpm.
