The Chevrolet Trax is a small SUV that outperforms all of its competitors, making it one of Chevy’s best-selling models. We’re taking a closer look at the 2025 Chevy Trax in this breakdown.
Exterior
The new Chevy Trax is available in vivid colors like Nitro Yellow Metallic, Cacti Green, and Marina Blue Metallic. If you’re looking for something more neutral, the Trax also comes in Summit White, Sterling Gray Metallic, or Mosaic Black Metallic. On the LS base trim, the window surrounds, lower bodyside moldings, and mirror caps are all black.
Standard exterior features on the new Chevrolet Trax include 17-inch steel wheels, all-season blackwall tires, LED lighting, a rear spoiler, and a manual liftgate. The 1RS and 2RS trims come with an exclusive exterior package that includes red RS badges at the front and back of the AUV, black bowtie emblems, and a black grille insert.
Seating
The Chevy Trax has a seating capacity of five passengers. The front bucket seats include a 6-way manual driver seat and a 4-way manual passenger seat, while the back seat is a 60/40 split-folding bench that you can fold down on either side to expand your cargo versatility. When this bench is folded completely flat, it increases your Trax’s cargo volume to 54.1 cubic feet.
Technology
The 2025 Trax has an 8-inch color infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These apps connect your phone to the Trax and sync your contacts to its infotainment system in a matter of minutes through Bluetooth technology. From there, you can use the voice command pass-through function to make or answer phone calls without taking your hands off the wheel.
The new Chevrolet Trax also has Wi-Fi hotspot capability for up to ten devices. This hotspot provides an internet connection within fifty feet of the vehicle, so you can use your devices outside!
Safety
Safety features in the 2025 Trax include Rear Seat Reminder, Teen Driver, Tire Fill Alert, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, and the Chevy Safety Assist package. Chevy Safety Assist uses the following driver-assistance functions to prevent common causes of accidents:

The Trax’s ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo engine provides 137 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting and flawless performance overall.
