Inside, the new 2015 Silverado HDs inherit the 1500’s cab improvements, including its stiffer construction, triple-sealed doors that are inset into the body for reduced noise, and classy interior. A bevy of USB, SD card, and power ports are available, and Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system is standard on all models save for the base work-truck HD variant. The dashboard was designed to put towing-specific controls close at hand. The optional trailer brake controller is positioned to the left of the steering wheel, the tow/haul button is fitted to the end of the shifter, and on models equipped with the Duramax diesel engine, the exhaust brake can be activated via a dash button.
